Hard to believe that 2009 is 16 days (counting today) from being history! But it is.
As we head into 2010, we are facing economic, political and spiritual storms of enormous magnitude in our country. My hope for my family and IMFC for 2010 and beyond is rooted in the scriptures! Proverbs 10:25 says,
“When the storm has swept by, the wicked are gone, but the righteous stand firm forever.”
Regardless what difficulties comes, we will stand and accomplish the Lord’s plan. Victory belongs to us as we faithfully follow Jesus Christ.
I also want to thank you for your prayers and support this year. 2009 has been a banner year for IMFC.
This year in Kampala,
200 families have received food and counseling (almost 1400 people)
15 churches have been planted,
3,397 prayed to received Christ and enrolled into Bible Way
2,134 students completed book 1, Who Is Jesus
1,040 Bibles were given to students of Bible Way who had completed 5 books
6 prisons were added bringing the number to 9 that we are working in
13 high schools and colleges were added to the work bringing the number to 20
146 people were baptized and many await
This year in Democratic Republic of the Congo (December report is not included),
837 professed faith in Jesus Christ
77 were baptized
Land was purchased in Kinshasa to construct a ceramic water filter plant
Stories of how God has changed peoples lives have been posted on this blog all year long. I hope you have read some of these. If not, go read the Grace Stories. God has done some incredible things in the lives of people. Check them out. They will touch your heart.
Again, thank you for your prayers and support. The Lord has opened doors for us that can enable us to touch all of Uganda for Christ. I am not exaggerating! Pray that the Lord of the Harvest give us the wisdom we need to know how to move forward and the resources to accomplish the tasks that lay ahead.
God Bless
