As we start 2010 our Uganda team has set some big goals for the year. BUT, our Lord can far exceed them. Here are the goals they have set out to achieve this year.
To plant 20 churches in and around Kampala. This year we have a goal to start Bible Way Clubs in 9 new high schools.
To share the gospel and take Bible Way to 7 new prisons.
To engage 3 new security guard companies with the gospel and Bible Way.
To win 3500 people to Jesus Christ and enroll them into Bible Way for discipleship.
To give away at least 150 Bibles a month to new believers who complete the first 5 books of the Bible Way Discipleship Course.
To baptize more than 150 new believers. (This number would be much higher if we had a church building with a baptismal pool with water actually in it in each community, or even a pool of fresh water in the communities, or flowing water within walking distance, or people who owned their own land so we could dig holes to fill with water, or people with money to pay for the transportation cost to carry them to Lake Victoria. But since we have none of these, baptism is real challenge.)
