Farouk Nsubuga, who is 28 years a former Moslem, served his 7 months in Luzira remand prison for crimes he admits he committed. He got released on the 19th September at 12:00pm and he wanted to get to the Bible Way office! Not for any other thing but to get his list of 14 prisoners he led to Jesus enrolled with Bible way and also so that he too can continue with the discipleship with Bible way.
He was released from Mwanga 2 Court which is very close to the New Mosque in Old Kampala hill for those of you who have visited this city.
He said he started looking for the Bible Way office from 12 pm to 5:34pm when he finally found it through a gentleman here in Nsambya who was doing the course. He directed him to the office.
Farouk looked so tired and hungry when he entered the gate, I gave him a drink to cool him and he told me his testimony, which I recorded, on tape. Though it’s in Luganda.
I asked why he was looking for Bible Way before any one else? He just said,
“These guys changed my life by bringing the course here at Luzira prison. 14 prisoners I led to Jesus want to enroll into Bible way and I want to continue with the discipleship.”
He was selected to be leader over 150 prisoners after getting saved through the Bible Way materials. He used that leadership position to Evangelize and disciple. 14 got saved!
His desire is to go home to Fort-Portal and start discipleship groups through the Bible way program.
He wanted to come and personally thank Bible way team for the job well done in Luzira prison for his life is now changed! Farouk was a criminal and a devoted Moslem when he went to Luzira prison but because he got to do Bible way course, now he is free and born again and now wants to live his life for Jesus!!! Wow!! Farouk is now free in deed!! (in deed!)
Please do continue to pray for our outreach to the prisons, God is at work big time!!
