As we had planed and even sent word out that on the 13th February, we would be doing food distribution in Katanga and we are I am happy to tell you that it was awesome!
We had 9 people pray to receive Jesus as lord and savoir. Praise be to Jesus!! And we did distribute food to the 50 families that we registered here in. The LCs were very cool with that.
We did set up the Manna ministry tent in the middle of the community so as to be closer to the people and make more impact on them.
The house church starts coming Friday at 4:00pm and that will be their day of meeting.
IMB’s “hands on” team did join us and they did a great job by sharing in the small groups and also the two men in their team helped carry the food to beneficiaries who seemed too weak or too sick to carry their share of food. That was really hands on!! By the Hands on team!! That’s what true missionaries do, they get their hands on when it comes to serving!
We had very sunny weather and that’s what you need when you do food distribution here in the slums where Manna ministry does its work
I just want to thank all of you who have prayed for this day to be successful, contributed financially to buy the food and also helped some body else to know about Manna ministry’s work in Katanga and other places. Through this you have made a worthy contribution of mercy and hope to Kampala’s suffering people. Thank you so much on the behalf of the Manna ministry staff and the beneficiaries of the food.
