The last two months have been wild! Out of the last two months (8 weeks) I have been overseas in Kampala and the Congo for five. God has blessed! The results: IMFC has a new ministry going in DR Congo, and I had a very successful mission trip with a team of volunteers from the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Alexandria, AL.
I will share more on the new work in DR Congo later, but let me give you an update on the results of my trip with the volunteers from Mt. Zion Baptist to Kampala, Uganda.
There were nearly 600 people who prayed to Jesus for forgiveness of sins!
Several persons of peace were found who are willing to open up new churches and Bible Studies in their homes or yards!
46 people were baptized at Lake Victoria! 3 were Moslem Background Believers who came to Christ through the Bible Way Ministry in Luzira Prison! Now they are helping with the ministry to prisoners in Luzira Prison! Amazing!
We were able to enter 3 prisons to share Christ and distribute Bible Way materials!
We closed out a very successful 6 months Manna Ministry in Butabika and prayer walked and shared the gospel in the areas that Manna will be opening ministry in for the next 6 months!
Our Uganda brothers and sisters in Christ were strengthen and encouraged!
Plus, I believe the Lord worked on the hearts of the volunteers who participated in this work. From their conversations, I believe they will take some of their experiences back to Alabama and be better servants for Christ there.
