Collins

Collins story sums up why we started and eleven years later still run Manna Ministry. Here is Collins story.

This is Collins. He is 59 years of age. He was in Manna Ministry from August 2016 to January 2017. He has a wife, 10 children and 7 grandchildren. 4 live with him now. Collins has been living in Soweto for the past 15 years. Before Manna he had nothing. He had no job. He had no money. He had no hope. But he learned how to save after entering Manna and hearing the teaching of the IMFC Manna team. Collins was faithful. He put the teaching into practice and saved. He now owns this salon where he cuts hair.

Collins is very grateful for the support of those who gave to Manna Ministry to make his new life possible. He is thankful that he was able to be in the program without having to give any shillings. He says that most organizations make you pay to get into their program.

Collins prayed with the IMFC Manna Ministry staff working that area, Alex, in August 2016 to give his life to Jesus Christ. Since then, he has finished 4 Bible Way books and now helps others working in the Bible Way books by collecting books for grading. Collins says these books of Bible Way have helped him study the Bible and know who Jesus is.

Not all do as well as Collins. Not all are serious and put the teaching on saving into practice as he did, but many do.

I am grateful that the Lord has given this work to us. In 2016, by my best estimation, over 4,000 people were directly or indirectly influenced by Manna Ministry in slums of Kampala and among the South Sudanese living in Arua. Thank you for your prayers and support.

Jimmy
