For months we have been praying for a new site to conduct Manna & Bible Way Ministry, a smaller, more affordable and efficient place. Why? Times and needs have changed. Nothing stays the same.
Well, God has answered our prayers. We will be moving from our current location to this one on Saturday, May 16, 2009!
The new ministry center is located on Tank Hill near the Baptist Mission and Emmaus Guest House where most of the volunteer teams stay that come to Kampala to work with Manna and Bible Way. An absolute ideal location!
I praise the Lord for the house the Lord has given us to work out of for the past 4 years. (It really doesn’t seem like “4” years, but it is!) Many have been trained to serve the Lord in this house and in the courtyard outside. Many volunteer teams have visited the center to be oriented to what life is like in Kampala and what they can expect while they serve here. Eye clinics have been hosted that have blessed hundreds in Kampala. Bible Way materials have been graded, processed and mailed to thousands of students! This is not ministerially speaking! This is fact. The Lord has used the work based in this house to bless many in Kampala.
Now, pray for the Kampala team as they move. Moving is always difficult whether your in America or Kampala, Uganda. And pray that the Lord will bless the work headquartered in our new location on Tank Hill as he did before.
