Mass Wedding For Bible Way Guards!

November 19, 2008

One of the last discipleship courses of Bible Way is about Christian Marriage. Every one who studies this course is taught what it means to have a Christian marriage from the Biblical perspective not based on any cultural norms and advice based on what any one else feels.  We have seen a lot of transformation in the lives of the students enrolled in Bible Way. And thus several of the guard fellowship members to today will say “I do” the bible way. Most of them had lived with their spouses but no commitment through holy matrimony.

The convictions of the word of God through this course brought them the courage to commit to a covenant relationship of marriage. They saw for themselves that these relationships of convenience they had before were not scriptural and were not blessed by God. So obedient they became to the word and desired holy matrimony. Here at Baptist church Nakulabye, four members including Pastor Thomas of Soweto will be saying, “I do”.

This is a very important testimony amongst all these Soweto Christians and we ourselves. So we thank God for the courage to commit through holy matrimony, provisions for the wedding celebrations and for Bible way discipleship program.

These are still active guards and they now train leaders in those fellowships. They are totally in charge of the fellowship they started.
