Sabina Zone Update: Growing Passion For Jesus Among Manna Beneficiaries

November 19, 2008

I have posted several videos and interviews from the opening food distribution for Manna Ministry in August in Sabina Zone. Well, over three months have passed. How is this work going?

Here is an update from Douglas who heads up Manna Ministry. Continue to pray for this work.

At the food distribution that took place in Sebina program area this November, forty people got enrolled into Bible way. Five prayed to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savor.

The small groups for the Manna beneficiaries are doing well with increasing numbers in attendance and more devotions to the teachings. Even the heavy rains have not distracted the people from coming to the fellowships since they meet under tree sheds and because of this we can tell that their passion for Jesus (personal relationship with the lord) and the word of God is growing. For they are willing to even dare in the rains in order to come for fellowship.

One man and an elderly lady separately asked us if we could help train them in order to start new work in their villages. We said yes! And so be it!

The Hands-on team members (Steve and Bryan) have joined with us to do door to door visits to the Manna beneficiaries to pray with them and share with them. These visits mainly target the Moslem beneficiaries and one lady came to faith in Jesus.
