Victory Behind Bars In Masindi Prison

by Jimmy on February 3, 2010

On the way to Murchinson Falls Game Park the team stopped at Masindi Prison.

A former prisoner in Luzira Prison in Kampala and Bible Way student, Kenneth, moved to Masindi in the summer and began to minister to men and women there. Kenneth receives no salary or benefits for his work. It is truly a work of love, and how God has blessed! Over 150 prisoners prayed to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior while the team was with them.

Kenneth will follow up with these men and women and enroll them into Bible Way. Pray for Kenneth and for the men and women in Masindi Prison.

These pictures were taken by the welfare officer of the prison and graciously sent to us. I hope you enjoy them.

Bible Way Correspondance Course has made such a difference in the behavior of the prisoners that the authorities have made it a valuable part of their rehabilitation program. Thanks for your support.

Brother Jimmy,
I am truly humbled and amazed at God’s timing. I am just getting to your email right after I have been preparing for my first Kairos Inside Weekend coming up next month. Looking at the pictures has been encouraging to me as our team prepares to minister to the residents at Walker State Prison in LaFayette, GA. I will indeed be praying for Brother Kenneth that God will bless his work at the Masindi Prison. I will pray for the men and women of the prison that God will speak to their hearts in a mighty way. As always, I will pray for you and your mission team. Our church faithfully prays for Manna Ministries and the work that God is doing through all of you. In Christ, Brother Mike
